Description
Miniature paintings originated in India around 750 A.D when the Palas ruled over Eastern India. With the rise of the Mughal Empire, miniature paintings found more patronage due to King Akbar’s love for art. These paintings symbolise Rajasthan in many ways – affluent, vivid, meticulous and rich culture.
The paintings are a clear reflection of Design Thinking; the artist’s design perspective has enhanced the painting’s absorptive capacity, profound thought, the ability to connect the dots and weave it from different perspectives. The paintings are an example of a canvas from multiple perspectives and creating the ‘Art Of Possible’. The passion in this work of art is revealed through focus on the attention to detail which is curated by thoroughness and accuracy.
These paintings are astounding even when viewed normally. However, the artisan’s creative deftness can be better appreciated by viewing it through a magnifying glass. The colours used in these hand-made paintings are derived from various natural sources like precious stones, gold, silver, indigo and flowers. The painting has been created using fine brushes to apply the organically synthesised pigments, and these brushes have fine squirrel hairs as bristles, providing the artisan the highest level of precision in his work.
It is the same precision that we value so highly at Intellect. We deep-dive into our customers’ needs and develop products by using the fine ‘brushes’ of Design Thinking to come up with the best and tailor-made products. For, each and every product that we create, is a piece of art.
